So the year has kicked off to a good start with a 3 day presentation at the Hospital Club in Covent Garden. London Collections: Men is now in its second season and they showcased an exciting range of menswear over the 3 days which we were happy to be a part of. The accessory labels we were positioned alongside were all individual, inspiring and creative. Two brands that align nicely with Marwood are beautifully engineered cufflinks by 'Alice Made This' and umbrella brand 'London Undercover', both of which make their products in the UK.
Below are photos of our installation. Our Autumn/Winter 2013 was based on a journey and a changing view from a train window - blurred landscapes, industrial stripes, cricket jumpers (reworked as a silk/wool jacquard cloth) and a kingfishers wing that was made using a photographic jacquard technique. We had a lovely response and a lot of comments about the lookbook which was shot by Scott Trindle. Marwood's muse since the beginning has been Jean Cocteau so we used this collection to celebrate his look, style, attitude and confidence.

New this season we have launched a collection of mohair socks. These are socks to invest in. Unlike cashmere socks which have a tendency to wear quickly, mohair is long lasting and robust yet breathable, warm and luxurious. We are really pleased they have created such an interest already.
